VersaPoints (Sales VP and Action VP)
As mentioned in my last post under the TripleClicks heading, there are two types of VersaPoints (VP), Sales VP and Action VP. It is important for you to know the difference between the two, how they are earned, and what relevance they each have to your monthly earnings and ranking.NB : Sales and Action VersaPoints are denoted on your To-Do List and VP Ledger under the ‘Type’ column.
Sales VP – are awarded for making sales or purchasing products at TripleClicks.com. Team Leaders (TL’s) must have a minimum of 1,500 Sales VP each month to maintain their ranks and retain their TL benefits (plus other EA2 or PSA requirements). These sales can be your own purchases, purchases made by TripleClicks members you have personally referred, or by affiliates in your downlines.
Action VP – are awarded for performing a variety of ‘actions’. These include the Getting Started, LaunchPad, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Intermediate, and Team Leadership actions, together with a couple of TripleClicks actions.
When you first join, SFI have made it quite easy for all new affiliates to attain the rank of Executive Affiliate, as there are a lot of one-off actions available which earn you many VP (ie LaunchPad and Getting Started actions). This is quite purposely designed that way to ensure SFI retains your interest, which is a very clever (but effective) recruitment tool, as while you are busy building your VP you are actually learning all about SFI along the way. So after the first month you should have a very good understanding of how SFI works, how you can earn an income from it, how to promote it, and how you will be rewarded.
It actually becomes a little harder in the next few months to retain your EA or TL status, as all the one-off start-up VP aren’t available any more, and you therefore have to earn more action VP by performing more advanced tasks, like creating a Standing Order (SO), sending out Genealogy Mailers, doing Stream Posts, distributing Gift Cards, participating in PriceBender Auctions, supporting personally sponsored EA’s and TL’s, etc. If you do all these plus complete all of your daily actions, then you should at the very least retain your EA2 status, and be very well on your way to TL status. Creating a SO is by far the easiest way to retain your EA rank, but I will go into more detail about SO’s (Standing Orders) in my next post.
As mentioned under Sales VP above, Team Leaders (TL’s) must have a minimum of Sales VP each month to maintain their ranks and retain their TL benefits. A point to note here is that while you will probably purchase several items through TripleClicks each month (depending on your budget and commitment to SFI), and earn many VP, keep in mind that if you are simply chasing VP to boost your ranking, there are other EA2 or PSA requirements that must also be met to ascend to the next level, so read and understand the ranking system of sfimg in my next post to come. If, however, you are fully developing your SFI business and are purchasing items (like TCredits, to compete in Pricebender Auctions, or S-Builder Co-Ops, etc), then while only a certain amount of Sales VP will go towards your next rank, you are still developing your business and you will earn money on your total VP at the end of the month, so all is not lost.
Then, as the months go by and you are further developing your downlines with PSA’s and CSA’s through being an Awesome Sponsor, you also have the opportunity to earn Action VP by supporting those PSA’s through to EA or TL status (see Chapter Four – Vital Actions, under ‘Team Leadership and Support’).
This is why SFI have developed the system this way, so as you grow and learn with SFI over time, you will earn VP from other avenues as your knowledge and skills increase. In other words, as your SFI business develops and grows, your marketing skills increase, your downlines grow, and you prosper from these more advanced actions.
